Roma Manager, Jose Mourinho has sent Leicester City a warning ahead of their Europa Conference League semi-final, after his side held title-chasing Napoli to a 1-1 draw in the Serie A on Monday.
Mourinho who is reputed for his defensive tactic did shut out Victor Osimhen for the entire duration as the Nigerian failed to make a positive response.
Napoli started the game on the front foot in front of their home fans at the Diego Maradona as Lorenzo Insigne converted a penalty in the 11th minute.
Osimhen, however, failed to record any shots on or off target as his only effort was blocked by a compact Roma defence.
El-Shaarawy’s 91st-minute equaliser denied Napoli the chance to go level on points with second-placed Inter Milan on 69 points, albeit with a game in hand for the defending champions.
Leicester City Manager Brendan Rodgers will have to be more creative with his attacking options when they face the Serie A side on Thursday, April 28 2022.
Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman will hope to come off the mark for the Foxes after the latter scored in their 2-1 Premier League loss to Newcastle over the weekend.
