Known as the festival of Fast-breaking, Eid al-Fitr is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entire month of Ramadan.

As yet no casualties have been reported and ten of thousands of worshippers still managed to perform their prayers…It was a more peaceful scene at Hazrat Abu Bakr Mosque in Kampala, Uganda…Celebrants in northern Nigeria’s city of Kano are treated to music on Sunday evening…And in the same city the following day it’s time once more for friends and family to gather.
