Some section of football fans have taken aim at Manchester United despite new Manager, Erik Ten Hag kicking off his reign in blistering fashion with a 4-0 thrashing of fellow EPL rivals, Liverpool in a preseason match in Bangkok on Tuesday.
The Red Devil’s endured a difficult start to the Premier League last season, leading to the sack of Norwegian Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim boss, even as the club failed to qualify for the Champions League after finishing sixth on the table.
The quest for a substantive manager to spearhead a rebuilding process in the team moved the club’s hierarchy into handing the Dutchman the vacant role.
In his first unofficial match since taking over from Ragnick at the end of last season, Ten Hag led his charge to their first trophy in five years.
United broke the deadlock in the 12th minute through Sancho before Fred added the second in the 30th minute.
Just three minutes after Fred’s goal, Martial made it 3-0 while substitute Pellestri added the fourth in the 76th minute.
United will continue their pre-season with another friendly against Melbourne Victory in Australia on Friday while Liverpool will face Crystal Palace also on Friday in Singapore.

Let’s hope the club breaks the cycle this next season.
