World football governing body FIFA and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have approved Ivory Coast to host four World Cup qualifiers in March 2025.
After their stadium failed to get approval, several African countries recently approached Ivory Coast and Morocco to use their facilities for their qualifiers.
According to the latest reports from Ivory Coast, Guinea will host Somalia on 21 March at the Alassane Ouattara Ebimpé Olympic Stadium, while Gambia will play Kenya at the same venue a day later.
The host nation, the Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire, will face Gambia at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium, and the Cheetahs of Benin will take on South Africa’s Bafana Bafana at the same venue 24 hours later.
