Nigerian international Alex Iwobi has completed his move to another Premier League side Fulham.
The transfer which was cemented on transfer deadline day, sees the Nigerian Super Eagles midfielder switch to his third club in London after leaving Everton.
He had played for Arsenal where he started his career at six.
Transfer Worth For Excited Iwobi
According to Fulham, Iwobi joined the club on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
Shortly after, Iwobi, nephew to football legend, Jay Jay Okocha, said, “Im buzzing, I just can’t wait to get started, I’m excited to start my journey here.
“Marco Silva spoke to me about the ambitions of the Club, and I’m on board. Hopefully I can bring something to the Club.”
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Iwobi moved to England at a young age, and was picked up by Arsenal as a six-year-old.
He joined Everton from Arsenal in 2019 in a deal worth £35m.
His displays for the Toffees were one of the positives, particularly last season when his 10-goal involvements helped the club avoid relegation, and also saw him named Players’ Player of the Season.
Iwobi had played in two of Everton’s three Premier League games this season.
