Former President Goodluck Jonathan has greeted former Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Deaconess Joan Olatoyosi Ayo, on her 80th birthday celebration.
In a message posted on his Facebook page, he wrote: “Today, I joined other leaders and eminent Nigerians to celebrate Deaconess Joan Olatoyosi Ayo, OON, at her 80th birthday, thanksgiving service and Book Launch at Muson Centre, Lagos.
“Deaconess Ayo is a woman of virtue, a patriot who has served our nation in different capacities including serving as the first female Chairperson of the Federal Service Commission during my administration. I wish her more years of peace joy and sound health. Happy birthday”.
Also in attendance at her birthday celebration, was former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Deaconess Olatoyosi was appointed to lead the commission in February 2012 under the Goodluck administration.
In 2016, she received the African Child Prize for her integrity in Public service. She was also listed into the United Nations Volunteer for Africa (UNVA) as an individual with exceptional positive qualities, worthy of emulation.
