Abdullahi Adamu, National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday stated that the party will take disciplinary action against Bola Tinubu over his recent bitter comments against President Muhammadu Buhari.
It would be recalled that the former Lagos State Governor and Presidential hopeful was seen in a video on Tuesday boasting that he helped Buhari and other APC leaders win elections in 2015.
Although, Tinubu has since issued a statement to apologise to the President, Adamu while briefing newsmen at the party’s National Secretariat on Saturday, said the apology tendered is not enough.
“We may punish him (Tinubu) for his utterances against the President,” Adamu hinted.
