The case between the Nigerian Government and the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has been adjourned till November 10, 2021 by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
The case involving the extradited leader of the proscribed group was held without any media coverage, as the Department of State Services (DSS), blatantly refused to allow even a single Journalist inside the courtroom.
Kanu, who was re-arraigned before Justice Binta Nyako, said he was innocent of all the allegations leveled against him by the Federal Government after the charge was read to him in the open court.
Kanu was extradited to Nigeria in June to face trial after he jumped bail and went on the run in 2017.
