Egypt has defeated Cameroon on penalties to qualify for the Finals cup of AFCON 2021.
Mohamad Abou Gabal showed his class after 120 minutes of a scoreless match, the Egyptian shot-stopper saved the penalties from the Cameroonian center back Moukoudi and Lea Siliki then came N’Jie who missed the penalty.
They will face Senegal in the finals who defeated Burkina Faso yersterday 3-1 to book their place in the final.
The finals will be played on Sunday 6th February at the Olembe stadium.
However, Egypt Coach Carlos Queiroz will be absent in the Afcon 2021 final clash between Egypt and Senegal after he bagged a red card.
Cameroon will now have to face Burkina Faso in the third place match on Saturday.
The best chance of Cameroon came in the 18th minute but Ngadeu-Ngadjui header only hit the post.
Egypt also had a chance through the Liverpool man Salah who was given a fantastic back pass from Hongla, but Andre Onana prevented the danger.
