A former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, is dead.
The 74-year-old who was a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday.
As at the time of filling this report, more details of his death has not been revealed.
Mantu represented Plateau Central Senatorial District while in the Senate.
