Some officers of the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) have stormed the venue of Nigeria’s main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primary election.
PDP National Convention to elect a 2023 Presidential candidate out of the 15 aspirants is ongoing at the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Abuja, the nation’s capital city.
The officers numbering over a dozen arrived the venue around 4:40pm but the purpose of their visit is unknown.
Dressed in their official red overcoats with EFCC boldly written behind, they were sighted moving around the delegate’s stand.
No fewer than 811 national delegates will decide who emerges the party’s presidential flag bearer among the 14 aspirants.
