Few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari gave a marching order, Nigeria’s Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba has resigned his appointment to pursue his political ambition.
Buhari around midday on Wednesday, had ordered all his appointees eyeing various political offices in next year’s election, to resign their current appointment on or before May 16, 2022.
President Buhari made this known during the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.
He susbsequently announced that Nwajuiba had quit the cabinet to focus on his presidential ambition.
