Terrorists have reportedly released three more victims out of the remaining hostages kidnapped on the Abuja-Kaduna train rail.
The victims, who consist of two males and a female, secured their freedom around 11 am on Monday, reports say.
It was also gathered that they were released by the terrorists at a location inside the forest along the Kaduna-Abuja highway, from where they were picked up by their relatives.
While it is not yet known if any money was paid to the terrorists to release the victims, their release now brings the number of those still in captivity 40.
Earlier in the day, families of the victims had staged a protest at the headquarters of the Ministry of Transportation.
