It was another miserable afternoon for Juventus after they lost 2-1 to Hellas Verona on Saturday.
A brace from Giovani Simeone was enough to secure victory at Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.
Verona were ahead after just 11 minutes, when some poor Juventus defending allowed Giovani Simeone to bundle in from close range.
Gialloblu doubled their lead moments later when Simeone fired a brilliant effort into the top corner – his sixth goal in two games.
Juventus improved in the second half and after some half chances, got one goal back when Weston McKennie found space before lashing a strike past Lorenzo Montipo.
Paulo Dybala thought he’d equalised late on but Montipo somehow clawed out his curling effort, condemning the Bianconeri to two straight defeats – and their fourth of the season.
The result leaves Massimiliano Allegri’s men on eighth position on the log, 13 points adrift leaders Napoli.
