Tottenham returned to the summit of the Premier League table after they triumph 2 – 0 over north London rivals.
Two first-half strikes from Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane sealed the victory for Spurs in the front of 2000 fans at the White Hart Lane.
Barely 13 minutes into the game, Son had put Spurs ahead after he tendered a superb finish from a solo run to beat goalkeeper Bernard Leno.
Jose Mourinho’s side then doubled the lead after Kane fired into the roof of the net from Son’s pass before the stroke of half-time.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had a great chance in the opening three minutes of the second half but could not keep his header down.
Alexandre Lacazette forced a fine save from Hugo Lloris and the French goalkeeper also made another stop from a Bukayo Saka’s free-kick.
The Gunners have now lost six out of their last nine matches as their poor run of form in the league continues.
