The Nigerian entertainment industry has once again placed itself in an enviable light on the global scene, as King of Boys series makes its debut on Netflix from August 27.
The Director and Producer of the movie, Kemi Adetiba disclosed this on her social media handles.
Adetiba one of Nigeria’s finest Writer, Producer and Director, explained that King of Boys will no longer be a film, as it was when it was first released in October 20, 2018, but will now be a series on Netflix.
KOB 2 is no longer called KING OF BOYS 2. Why? Cos it’s not a FILM. It’s NETFLIX’S FIRST ORIGINAL SERIES OUT OF NIGERIA & a 7-PART.
“You can now confidently set your reminders & refresh your NETLFIX accounts. KOB 2 is officially landing on August 27th, 2021. No going back,” she tweeted.
King of Boys tells the story of Alhaja Eniola Salami played by Sola Sobowale , a business woman and philanthropist with a promising future.
The series also features major acts in the movie and music industry such as Adesuwa Etomi, Akin Lewis, Reminsce, Illblis amongst others.
