Bayern Munich has fined Kingsley Coman a whooping sum of €50,000 after the winger arrived the training venue in a Mercedes car instead of an Audi.
It is believed that Audi own 8.33 per cent of the German champions and their partnership is worth around £42.8million per year.
This means they’re provided with Audi cars for training, matches and sponsorship events and reports has it that Coman is in breach of those rules after being denied entry into the training ground by club staff.
The former Juventus forward has been guilty of breaking these rules in the past, having arrived training ground in his McLaren supercar last year.
Although, Coman reportedly defended his actions in a statement to BILD, claiming the wing mirror of his club-provided car was damaged.
At the time he stated: “I would like to apologise to the club and Audi for not having come to training in my company car.
“The reason was a damaged wing mirror on my Audi. Still, that was a mistake, of course I can see that.
“As a reparation, I will visit the Audi plant in Ingolstadt for an autograph hour as soon as possible and bring some attention to the employees.”
