Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dismissed claims of a perceived feud with his talismanic forward Sadio Mane after he was snubbed by the Senegalese in Liverpool’s win at Old Trafford on Thursday.
Mane snubbed a handshake from the German, who was seen shaking hands with a number of his players while beaming with delight
The former Southampton man was a second half substitute as the Reds picked up a huge win in their quest to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
After the game, Klopp walked into the pitch to celebrate the win with his players, Mane was not happy as his boss went over to embrace him.
Klopp extended his hand, only for Mane to leave his boss hanging. He then shook his head and walked away as he threw his wrist tape on the turf.
Liverpool fans have slammed the Senegalese forward for “disrespecting” Klopp at the final whistle.
Asked after the game by Sky Sports, Klopp said there was “no problem” and that everything was “all fine” between the two.
