Headache is a health concern that troubles several people regularly and there is undeniably no way to avoid the pain as it can be triggered by any small event that you might not even consider prominent. Sleepless nights, skipping breakfast, work pressure or stressful days, all these things can cause headache and topple your life upside down.

In general, what do you do in such a situation? Pop an over-the-counter medicine, which is not that bad, unless you do it quite often. Another safe and effective way to get rid of your nasty pain is by consuming some fruits which are known to provide relief from headache.

Here are five fruits that can bring relief from that pain

1. Watermelon.
A major cause of headache is dehydration. Watermelon contains a lot of water as It contains 92 per cent water. You can keep hydrated by getting plenty of water, both by drinking it and by eating foods that are high in water content.

Drinking enough water is crucial for overall health, including migraines. Watermelon is packed with nutrients like potassium and magnesium, which works quite effectively on headache.

2. Bananas.
Eating bananas is a quick and simple way to prevent headache. Bananas have hydration benefits since they contain roughly 74 percent water.

In addition to being a fantastic source of magnesium, which helps with headaches, bananas are a great snack for regaining energy quickly.

3. Berries.
Blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries are just a few of the berries you can choose from. The high antioxidant content of berries may help reduce sinus pressure and relieve headaches.

4. Pineapple.
In addition to its delicious taste, fresh pineapple has the remarkable ability to alleviate headache symptoms. Since ancient times, the natural painkiller bromelain has been associated with pain relief. It also has anti-inflammatory qualities that can reduce headaches.

5. Cucumber.
Just like watermelon, cucumber can help prevent dehydration. The very hydrating, 95% water-containing cucumber is an excellent choice for a light snack that can help with headaches.
