Fans have reacted to the comment from former Super Eagles and Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder, John Ogu backing his compatriots Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi to emerge victorious against Chelsea in Saturday’s FA Cup final clash at Wembley.
Leicester City advanced to their first final in over 50 years following a 1-0 victory over Southampton, thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho’s second-half strike.
Expressing his wish to see the Foxes triumph over Chelsea, the 34-year-old, who last played for Al-Adalah FC in Saudi Arabia, took to his twitter handle to pray for the Nigerian duo
He wrote: “Dear lord Jesus, I’m a fan of my brothers @Ndidi25 and @67Kelechi Iheanacho in their FA cup final today. Lord Jesus, may they win it for us all and for their family 🙏🙏. AMEN.”
Meanwhile, Ogu’s comment did not seem to go down well with some fans who urged him to extend the same support to Villareal’s Samuel Chukwueze, when they face Manchester United in the Europa League final on May 26…
