Harry Kane has reportedly resumed training with his teammates at Tottenham amid recent reports linking the striker with a move away from the North London club.
The England captain reported back to Spurs’ training base last Friday and carried out individual exercises, but he was not involved against admirers Manchester City at the weekend.
Reports had claimed that Kane was prepared to make himself available for the visit of the champions, but Nuno Espirito Santo affirmed that the striker needed more time to build up his match fitness.
Now, The Athletic reports that Kane rejoined the group for training on Tuesday morning and could come into contention for Thursday’s Europa Conference League clash with Pacos de Ferreira.
Reports also claim that Kane is still bent on a move to Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola’s side are supposedly prepared to end their interest in the 28-year-old if the striker is still valued at £160m.
Kane – who was previously forced to deny reports claiming he refused to show up for pre-season tests – enters the 2021-22 campaign after scoring 33 goals and setting up 17 more in 49 games across all competitions last term.
