Scott McTominay has continued to receive accolades from Manchester United fans following his incredibly consistent displays in the middle of the park for the Old Trafford giants.
The Scotland international came on as a substitute to score an extra-time winner to help his side see off a stubborn West Ham side in the FA Cup fifth round tie and taking his goal tally to seven this season.
McTominay has become an important player for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and already fans are joking the 24-year-old is on his way to surpassing Liverpool legend Gerrard, one of the best midfielders in Premier League history.
After the victory over West Ham, United fans were clearly over the moon as they took to twitter to sing the midfielder’s praises.

Is it even an exaggeration to say that Scott McTominay is better than any version of Steven Gerrard ever?
