Threads, a text-based messaging app on Instagram, has achieved a significant milestone by attracting over 69 million users, as indicated by the number badges displayed on Instagram profiles.
Soon after its launch, Threads garnered an impressive user base of 30 million within a span of fewer than 24 hours, prompting Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to announce this accomplishment.
In response to the competition posed by Threads, Twitter expressed its discontent by sending a letter to Meta, in which they hinted at potential legal action, suggesting that Meta had hired former Twitter employees with access to confidential information.

This seamless integration contributed to the rapid adoption of the app, with 2 million sign-ups occurring within a mere two hours after its launch.
The momentum only grew stronger, as the user count skyrocketed to 10 million within seven hours and an impressive 30 million within a mere 12 hours.
The overwhelming response to Threads prompted Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino to address the Twitter community, urging users to remain loyal and united. In a post, she emphasized the uniqueness of the Twitter community, highlighting its role in witnessing historic events, accessing real-time information worldwide, sharing opinions, and learning about diverse perspectives.
Yaccarino underscored the irreplaceable nature of the Twitter community, stating, “You built the Twitter community. And that’s irreplaceable. This is your public square
