Explosions rocked Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital on Tuesday following a Russian strike.
The Pechersk district’s two residential structures are among those damaged, according to Vitali Klitschko, the city’s Mayor.
The war in Ukraine has been denounced by world leaders attending the G20 summit in Indonesia.
This attack is the first of its kind in more than a week, during which time Russia withdrew its military from Kherson.
The explosions came hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky made a video message to world leaders at the G20 conference, which was preceded by air raid warnings across all of Ukraine.
“Russia launches a new missile attack in response to @Zelenskiy’s stirring address at the #G20. Does anyone genuinely believe that Moscow wants peace? It demands submission. But in the end, terrorists always lose, “The head of the president’s staff, Andriy Yermak, wrote on Twitter.
