Erling Haaland taught Borussia Dortmund teammate Mahmoud Dahoud a lesson after he prematurely touched the DFB-Pokal trophy during an entertaining ceremony.
It was a night to remember for Edin Terzik’s side, who now have five DFB-Pokal titles to their name.
England international Jadon Sancho opened the scoring in the fifth minute before that man Haaland made it two.
Dortmund continued to dominate and just before the half-time whistle, Sancho got his brace when he made it 3-0 with a composed finish.
Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo managed to pull one back in the second-half but it was Erling Haaland who put the icing on top of the cake as BVB strolled to a deserved victory.
After the full-time whistle, Dortmund players celebrated on the pitch. But when Dahoud decided to get his hands on the trophy before it was officially handed over, Haaland proceeded to slap the German international for good measure.
