Juventus forward Alvaro Morata was forced to sleep outside the comfort of his home after his wife accidentally locked him out of the house.
The 28-year-old was traveling home to meet his family after Juventus’ 3-0 pre-season loss to Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy at Johan Cruyff Stadium in Spain.
Morata, who revealed the unfortunate scene on Instagram, arrived at his home at 4am after a frustrating game against Barcelona and found the doors locked at home as a security measure.
Reports suggests Morata’s wife, Alice Campello had forgotten to unlock the security system and was fast asleep by the time the player returned.
The Spain international was left with no choice but to book a room at a nearby hotel and try to move on from the funny incident.
Morata and Alice have been married since June 2017, and both happy with three kids. The pair had thrown a Spider-Man birthday party for their twins in July.
