Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa will reportedly make his debut for Kano Pillars against Enyimba on May 5.
The Super Eagles captain rejoined the the four-time Nigerian Professional Football League champions on ‘flexible short-term loan deal’ last week having being without a club for months.
Although, reports indicate that Musa will not be available for majority of the club’s away fixtures due to bad roads and security concern.
According to club sources the former Leicester City star will only take part in away fixtures that are close to Kano.
Musa trained with his new teammates for the first time on Monday morning and top officials revealed he will not be on a salary, while his bonuses will be donated to charity.
Speaking on the move, the 28-year-old who became a free agent since leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in October, told BBC Sport Africa:
“Anything that improves the image of Nigerian football is something that I strive to embark on and Kano Pillars holds a special place in my heart.
“It’s the team that helped me become the professional footballer I am today, so this is more than just football but a very strong bond.”
The caliphate side are currently joint top of the league table with Kwara United.
