There are indications that superstar Victor Osimhen may have his asking price reduced by Napoli as clubs indicate interest.
The 25-year-old is looking for a move away from the Serie A, but Napoli’s initial €150M release clause has warned off any potential suitors.
According to Calciomercato, the Partenopei may now be ready to lower their initial valuation to €100m.
They are hopeful that they can free up much needed transfer funds for new boss Antonio Conte, who is understood to be desperate to land Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.
With the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain not really keen on signing Osimhen at the moment, the only avenue open is a move to Saudi Arabia.
The Nigerian star is however not keen on the option at the moment.
Meanwhile, the trio of Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea are reportedly vying for the signature of Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman during the summer transfer window, Calciomercato reports.
According to the Italian outlet, Atalanta might be open to selling their star player for the right price.
Reports suggest they’d accept a fee of €60 million, which all three Premier League clubs are reportedly willing to pay.
Since joining Atalanta two years ago, Lookman has blossomed into one of Europe’s top wingers.
He’s scored a remarkable 34 goals, surpassing his combined total from his previous five seasons with RB Leipzig, Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City.
Lookman has also notched 18 assists in all competitions for Atalanta, matching his career total since turning professional with Charlton Athletic in 2017.
His crowning moment came in the UEFA Europa League final, where he netted a hat-trick to secure a 3-0 victory for Atalanta over Bayer Leverkusen.
