The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on Thursday queried Channels Television for granting an interview to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State.
NBC said the move followed “inciting, divisive and unfair comments” made by the governor during a programme, ‘Sunrise Daily’ on Tuesday.
In the interview, Ortom had described President Muhammadu Buhari as the worst in terms of insecurity.
He also accused the president of nepotism, saying he has a hidden agenda. “Mr President is pushing me to think that what they say about him, that he has a hidden agenda in this country,” Ortom said.
