The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Simbi Wabote says the Board is proud to identify with UNITERM Nigeria Ltd for its offering of world class services to the oil & gas sector and other sectors of the economy, without compromising standards and safety.
Engr. Wabote made this known on Friday while delivering his keynote address at the grand opening of UNITERM Nigeria Ltd Operational Base in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
While commending UNITERM for rising to the challenge of multiplying its presence in Nigeria, Engr. Wabote added that the World class services offered by the company tallies with the Board’s 10-year strategic roadmap aimed at increasing the level of Nigerian Content in the oil and gas sector to 70% by 2027.
The local content boss also applauded the Rivers State Government for creating an enabling environment for businesses to initiate and complete their growth plans within the city rather than relocate to other state.
The MD/CEO, UNITERM, Austin Omobhude in his welcome address reelled out services rendered by UNITERM and thanked the NCDMB for the close working relationship, noting that the Board led by Engr. Wabote has been of immense support.
In his remarks, the Chairman, UNITERM, Engr. Obioha Fubara Okoroafor also appreciated the Board and expressed hopes for a continued smooth and mutually beneficial working relationship.
Engr. Wabote was accompanied to the event by the General Manager, Capacity Building Division, NCDMB, Dr Ama Ikuru; General Manager, Corporate Communications/Zonal Coordination, NCDMB, Engr. Dr. Ginah O. Ginah; ES-STA/General Manager, Strategy And Transformation Projects, NCDMB, Engr. Abayomi Bamidele; Angela Okoro, Manager, Capacity Building Division and other staff of the Board.
