The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Simbi Wabote has challenged indigenous companies whose capacities have been built to take the center stage and demonstrate their capacities to the rest of the world.
Engr. Wabote gave the charge on Friday at the Grand Commissioning of an indigenous company – South Western Technologies and Oilfield Services Ltd in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
While expressing delight at the success of South Western Technologies and Oilfield Services Ltd in providing efficient and flawless service to Oil and Gas E&P companies, Engr. Wabote said it was about time indigenous companies spread the word of how Nigerian companies have become competitively world class.
He also congratulated the company as they commissioned their office and other facilities for use in Rivers State.
The MD, South Western Technologies & Oilfield Services Ltd, Engr. Chris Idisi in his keynote address described NCDMB as the platform that enables local companies build capacities in the oil & gas sector and thanked the Board for its relentless support.
In his remarks, the Chairman, South Western Technologies & Oilfield Services Ltd Engr. Obioha Fubara Okoroafor, applauded the NCDMB led by Engr. Simbi Wabote for all the giant strides recorded so far in Nigerian Content even beyond the oil and gas sector.
