The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board, NCDMB, is set to host the maiden edition of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF).
The event which would be virtually coordinated, would run between May 25 and 26, 2021.
Briefing jounalists yesterday at the Southern Sun Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos State, the Executive Secretary, NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote noted that the event tagged “Leveraging Opportunities & Synergies For Post Pandemic Recovery Of The Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry” would be a virtual conference due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He added that the maiden edition would have “1200 delegates in Akwa Ibom and over 33 Exhibitors which was a great feat at that period as a new edition”.
“How do we leverage our E&P activities into the transition that we see? What are the opportunities in the sector? What are the challenges and shortcomings? How will it affect us as a country and as a continent? These are areas we will have discussions around,” Engr. Simbi added.
The ES further implored all stakeholders for their unalloyed support, especially the media for full corporation “to ensure that this edition of NOGOF becomes a success”.
