The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has released the Super Eagles squad to prosecute the friendlies between Mexico and Ecuador.
The Eagles meet Mexico first on May 29 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, before trading tackles with Ecuador in Harrison, New Jersey, on June 3.
Red hot Dutch Eredivisie striker Cyriel Dessers and Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Samson Tijani have been recalled to be part of the 30-man squad penciled down to be part of the friendlies.
Meanwhile, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Leicester City Kelechi Iheanacho are the notable names missing from the list.
While a new Head Coach is yet to be announced, Coach of the Home-based Eagles Salisu Yusuf is expected to lead the charge and will release the final 23 man list for the prepatory tour ahead of next month’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Sierra Leone in Abuja (9th June) and São Tomé & Príncipe in Marrakech, Morocco (13th June).
