Gunmen have reportedly kidnapped a former Minister and one time Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Solomon Ewuga.
Ewuga was reportedly kidnapped in Plateau, a state in the North Central part of the country, that has mostly been affected by incessant attacks of armed groups.
He was said to have been kidnapped in the late hours of Tuesday.
The former Senator, who represented Nasarawa North Senatorial District from 2011-2015, was returning home when the gunmen waylaid and abducted him.
His abduction follows series others witnessed in the country particularly in the Northern part of the country as a result of the rising insecurity.
He is a cousin of a former Inspector General of Police, Musiliu Smith.
