Former Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Kingsley Kuku, has bagged a Law Degree from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN), Preston, United Kingdom.
Kuku who also served as Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on Niger Delta Affairs, graduated with First Class in Law.
The graduation ceremony took place last Thursday.
Kuku had previously bagged Executive Certificate in Public Leadership at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government, Boston, Massachusetts, USA .
He also bagged Research Ph.D in International Relations (Peace Studies) from the Selinus University of Science and Literature, Bologna, Italy(2019).
Kuku holds an MSc in Political Science (International Relations) from the Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, Nigeria and a Bachelor in English Language from the Ondo State University in 1995.
After his involvement with the Ijaw youths for years, he contested and was elected as member of Ondo State House of Assembly and thereafter became the chairman of the house committee for a period of four years.
Kuku was also a signatory to the historic Kaiama Declaration of 1998; Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly (2003—2007).
He has remained a voice and an active stakeholder for the development and restoration of lasting peace in the oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
He has received several honorary awards in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.
