At PU 131, opposite Pilot Gate, State House, Abuja, Obi secured 17 votes while Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) got six votes, and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secured three votes.
In addition to Obi’s win, the Labour Party also secured victories in the National Assembly elections at the polling unit.
The senatorial election results showed APC with five votes, PDP with three votes, APGA with one vote, NNPP with one vote, while Labour Party emerged with the most significant number of votes at 13.
There were no invalid votes, making the total number of votes cast to be 23.
Similarly, in the House of Representatives election, PDP secured one vote, APC five votes, Labour Party had 15 votes, while ADC got one vote.
One vote was declared invalid, bringing the total number of votes cast to 23.
The results of this particular polling unit serve as a glimpse into the broader context of the presidential elections, as voters across Nigeria have been casting their ballots in what has been a highly contested race.
The election has been marked by reports of violence and logistical issues, but despite these challenges, voters have turned out in large numbers to make their voices heard.
