The Nigerian Parliament on Saturday confirmed the death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah in London, the United Kingdom.
The development was confirmed by the Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu.
Until his death, Ubah represented Anambra South.
Senator Ubah who recently defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), died in a London hotel in United Kingdom two days after leaving Nigeria.
Sen. Ubah who contested the 2014 Governorship election in Anambra State under the Labour Party, died at the age of 52.
He reportedly of cardiac arrest.
He was Chairman, Senate Committee on Petroleum Downstream sector.
Ubah was reportedly in London to attend his son’s graduation before his death.
