The Federal Government of Nigeria has unveiled an online humanitarian job application portal for residents of Plateau State, particularly in communities affected by recent killings by bandits.
The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation announced this in a statement on Monday.
“For avoidance of doubt, this is a temporal humanitarian aid worker job with three months’ duration,” the Ministry stated.
It is targeted at improving the Ministry’s response time and quality of response in the communities affected, it stated further.

According to the ministry, this job offer is for persons residents in those locations to help with community relationships and interaction.
The Local Government Areas (LGAs) concerned in Plateau State are Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu.
“Apply through a written application or online using the links fmhds.gov.ng and fmhapahumanitarianjobs.com,” the Ministry said.
Meanwhile, following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directives, more items have been deployed to Plateau State for the affected communities and local governments.
Heavily armed bandits had on Christmas eve invaded Barkin Ladi, Bokkos and Mangu local governments, attacking residents with machetes and automated weapons.
The death toll from the carnage rose up to 200, an attack that has been denounced locally and internationally.
