Nigerian international Victor Boniface late Tuesday night netted his first UEFA Champions League goal.
The goal galvanised Bayer Leverkusen to defeat AC Milan, giving them a second straight victory in the continental club group competition inside the Bay Arena.
Though Boniface’s initial goal was caught offside by VAR, he later hit the target six minutes into second half action.

Also in the Champions League, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka scored to ensure Arsenal beat PSG 2-0, recording their first Champions League win this season.
The Gunners had played a goalless draw with Atalanta on Match Day one.
On the other hand, Manchester City also recorded their first win, with a commanding 4-0 win at Slovan Bratislava.
The highest goal tally on the day came as Dortmund thrashed Celtic 7-1, with Brest whitewashing RB Salzburg 4-0.
Barcelona demolished Young Boys 5-0 in their encounter.
