Nigerian lawmakers have paid a visit to A-29 Super Tucano, a US manufacturing company contracted to build fighter Jets for the West African nation’s Airforce.
The visit comes just hours after the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Godwin Emefiele said the company will deliver six fighter Jets to Nigeria in August.
$469.4 million had been long approved by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2018 for the purchase of the aircraft to boost the fight against insecurity.
