The former members of Plantashun Boiz, Innocent ‘2baba’ Idibia, Ahmedu ‘Black Face’ Obiabo and Chibuzor ‘ Faze’ Oji set their differences aside at a night of tributes held in honour of late Sound Sultan.
The trio were members of a music group ‘Plantashion Boiz’ before their split.
After their split, Blackface repeatedly accused 2baba of stealing his song, insisting he wrote African Queen.
He also accused the ‘African Queen’ crooner of being gay, alleging that 2face engaged in same-sex intercourse as a sacrifice for his success.
The long-term beef however ended as Baba Dee, the deceased elder brother reminded the Plantashun Boiz of how they all started.
They put aside their differences and performed one of their hit songs in the memorial concert of late Sound Sultan.
The act left the audience alive and at home in an utter frenzy, as it was a moment they all had craved to see someday.
Other stars present at the gathering included MI, Vector, Timi Dakolo, Sound Sultan’s musician brother, Baba Dee, ILLBliss, Banky W and comedianne, Princess, among others.
Sound Sultan died at the age of 44.
He died after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma, his family said in a statement.
The music star was buried according to Muslim rites in the United States of America.
The singer is survived by a wife, three children and siblings.
