The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced the temporary suspension of train services from Saturday, February 25th, to Monday, February 27th, 2023.
According to a statement signed by Mr. Yakubu Mahmood, Deputy Director of Public Relations, NRC, this decision was made to enable Nigerians to carry out their civic responsibilities during the upcoming elections.
The suspended train services include; Abuja – Kaduna, Warri – Itakpe, Lagos – Ibadan, and Iddo Lagos – Ijoko interstate Mass Transit passengers’ train services.
The NRC management further assured the public that normal train services will resume on Tuesday 28th of February 2023.
