Popular Nigerian female singer, Tems, has bagged her first Grammy Award, becoming the first Nigerian female artist to do so.
The singer claimed her victory at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, she earned her first Grammy for her contribution to Future’s ‘Wait For U,’ which also featured Drake.
The Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, who has made a massive impression with her music over the past few years, is also up for Album of the Year, for her contribution to Beyoncé’s Renaissance.
Earlier this year, the “Higher” Singer scored an Oscar nomination at the 2023 Oscars for co-writing “Lift Me Up’, one of the songs on ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
The Heritage Times had earlier reported that Tems was one of the nominees for the Grammy awards. The singer definitely has more to be bring to the table in forthcoming years in the music industry and we can’t wait to see her keep flying higher.
