President Muhammadu Buhari has once again reiterated his promise to lift 100 million Nigerians out of Poverty.
The president who made this known via his official Twitter page said he is committed to lifting millions of Nigerians out of poverty as he has increased the scope of his social investment programs such as N-power, MarketMoni, TraderMoni, FarmerMoni, and the School Feeding Program.
We remain committed to the plan to lift 100m Nigerians out of poverty. To this end I have approved an increase in scope of our Social Investment Programme:
Doubling of @npower_ng beneficiaries to 1 million; 1 million new @geep_ng beneficiaries & 5 million new pupils for @NHGSFP.— Muhammadu Buhari (@MBuhari) December 10, 2020
However, many Nigerians who are tired of the endless unfulfilled promises from the government have taken to their various social media pages to voice their opinion.
Since 2015 you’ve been planning to lift 100m Nigerians out of poverty?? Since 2015???

So the rest of over 100m people aren't Nigerians?? @MBuhari I don't know who's advising you…, give the nation constant electricity and the rest of ordinary social amenities and you will automatically touch the lives of all Nigerians not just 100m. https://t.co/jR2WtZFCdp

Buhari has been lifting 100m people out of poverty yearly. And this is his fifth year in office. Technically he has lifted 500m out of poverty so far.
