Nigerians have taken to various social media platforms to air their opinion on the decision made by the Kano State Hisbah Board permitting the destruction of 1,975,000 bottles of beer worth over N200 million.
The Heritage Times bring you various opinions of Nigerians concerning the decision.
Also, government has no authority to dictate the dress code of citizens. I'm wondering why those whose businesses have been destroyed by the so-called Hisbah police haven't challenged them in court.
These primitive nonsense is happening because people are not challenging them.

Taxes from Alcohol shouldn't be part of revenues shared to Kano and other such states. Meanwhile, Kano is the headquarters for hard drugs. https://t.co/pi5z2c7yOS

My only question is if Kano state doesn’t want alcohol consumption then, the tax gotten from alcohol nationwide through the VAT on each bottle. Shouldn’t go to the state..
Bloody hypocrites https://t.co/YaOqZ3G6Fw
