Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will on December 23, 2022 know their opponents in the upcoming 2023
The Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations is scheduled between February 18 and March 12, 2023 in Egypt.
According to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the draw ceremony will take place in Cairo.
Aside from the Flying Eagles and the host nation, other countries will also compete for honours during the biennial continental tournament.
They are Senegal, Zambia, Mozambique, Uganda, South Sudan, Tunisia, Central African Republic and DR Congo.
The four semi-finalists at the competition will compete at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian side has continued their impressive friendlies with a 2-0 victory over Nigeria Professional Football League side, Wikki Tourist Fc of Bauchi on Thursday December 15, 2022 at the FIFA Goal Project, Package B of Abuja National Stadium.
The Flying Eagles will confront another NPFL side, Nasarawa United on Friday at the same venue, before playing Lobi Stars on Saturday morning.
