On Thursday, the Norwegian Minister of Defence announced that Norway and Denmark had decided to give Ukraine an additional 9,000 artillery rounds.
According to the Norwegian ministry, Norway will supply the shells, and Denmark will contribute fuses and propellant charges.
The ministry claims that 7,000 rounds from Norway’s stock, which have already been shipped to Ukraine, will also be donated.
The artillery rounds can be used in various types of artillery, including the M109 that Norway has previously donated.
The acquisition of new munitions will replace the ammo, it added.
