French football star Karim Benzema has now signed a contract and unveiled as Al-Ittihad player in Saudi Arabia.
The contract which is a two-year deal with the option of adding one more year will see Benzema earn almost €200milion per season.
This is after he left Real Madrid last week after 14 seasons with the La Liga giants.
Benzema played his last game at Real Madrid at weekend with draw 1-1 with Athletic club.
He won five Champions League titles, five Club World Cups, four LaLiga titles, four UEFA Supercups, three Copas del Rey and three Spanish Super Cups as well as left as the second top scorer in the club’s history with 354 goals across all competitions while at Madrid.
His new club Al-Ittihad are the champions of Saudi Pro-league.
He has arrived the Arab nation to join former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo who plays for Al-Nassr.
There are also rumours making rounds that 2022 World Cup winner, a former PSG and Barcelona player Lionel Messi will likely join a Saudi Arabia club.
