Manchester United Striker, Marcus Rashford, will miss the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers between England and Italy, after he picked up a knock while featuring for his side’s FA Cup quarter-final win against Fulham on Sunday March 19, 2023.
The inform striker, will also not be available for the Ukraine clash.
This was disclosed via a statement by the England National team.
The statement also disclosed that Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount and Newcastle Keeper, Nick Pope – both England stars, have withdrawn from the qualifiers due to injuries.
Pope, who has 10 caps, suffered an injury in Newcastle’s 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest on Friday.
Mount is also recovering from an injury and will stay with Chelsea.
Mount was called up despite not playing for Chelsea since February 26 – and again missed the 2-2 draw with Everton at the weekend, as he continues his recovery.
Tottenham’s Fraser Forster, who has deputised in recent weeks in the absence of Hugo Lloris, has been called up to replace Pope.
Rashford has been in fine form for Manchester United this season, scoring 27 goals in total including, 19 since returning from the Qatar World Cup, where he found the net three times in five games for England.
It is not known how serious Rashford’s injury is and whether he will also miss games for Manchester United.

United face Newcastle, Brentford and Everton, after the international break before the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final against Sevilla.
