Oil and Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (OGTAN) has renewed commitment to working with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) to increase capacity in the Oil and Gas sector.
OGTAN’s National President, Mazi Sam Onyechi, made the disclosure on Thursday while he paid a visit to the Executive Secretary of the NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote at the Nigerian Content Tower in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The purpose of the visit according to Onyechi, was to familiarize the Board with the new OGTANG leadership, and to intimate it with progress made on the 7C’s of Categorization, Certification, Compliance, Collaboration, Competence, Curriculum and Cost effectiveness given to OGTANG by the NCDMB.
Onyechi further commended Engr Simbi and the Board for the Nigerian Content Tower noting that “here today is a fantastic edifice that reckons with any building anywhere in the world resulting from astute management, diligence & hard work.”
The NCDMB ES in his remarks, congratulated the new executive of OGTANG, noting that OGTAN and the NCDMB would collaborate more to increase capacity in the Oil and Gas sector, even as he emphasized on the utilization of a 60-20-20 training approach.
